Music is a more potent instrument than any other for education because rhythm and harmony find their way into the inward places of the soul.

As an educator, I view teaching as a collaborative process that cultivates both technical fluency and artistic individuality. In my instruction across guitar, music theory, composition, and counterpoint, I emphasize the development of critical listening, creative problem-solving, and a strong grasp of musical structure. My goal is to help students not only acquire technical and theoretical proficiency but also understand how these tools inform personal expression and compositional intent. I encourage curiosity, reflection, and experimentation, fostering an environment where students feel empowered to explore their own musical ideas while engaging deeply with the traditions and innovations that shape our art form.
